We are moving to Luther Centre’s Chapel from this Sunday!

We are finally moving out of BLC Bangsar premises, and settling at Luther Centre’s Chapel for a while. This is to prepare for the coming renovation at Bangsar premises.
So from this Sunday of October 4, 2009, BLC’s community will start congregating at Luther Centre’s Chapel. It’s located on the First Floor of Luther Centre, and accessible by lift from the underground car park.
Venue: Chapel, 1st floor, Luther Centre, No. 4 Jalan Utara, Petaling Jaya.

For me, this has been a simple and yet meaningful Christmas. And there are many reasons to say that.  The church decorations were just right not too much compared to the glamorous displays in the malls,
The worship liturgy was not flowery but with childlike trust.  The “offerings” (presentations) by the children, the carolers, and a duet were not professionally perfect but sincere.

Gareth, Elysia and I sat down with a candle lit for special time of prayer before they slept and we talked about Advent and what it means.  Gareth got it right when he said it was about “coming”.  But who or what’s coming I asked?  The kids giggled and mentioned presents and all.
