From November onwards, BLC will be conducting Sunday Morning Bible Studies. The main purpose of these Sunday morning Bible Studies is to provide opportunies for ongoing learning community for family and friends of BLC.

The basic format is 60 minutes A (similar to Alpha course style) .. a bit more bite size. – 30minutes Input – 30 Minutes Interaction.

Bangsar Lutheran Church (LCMS, Malaysia)  and Evangelical Lutheran Church Lauf a.d. Pegnitz (ELCB, Germany)

1. We are grateful for the bond as brothers and sisters between the two congregations and consider it to be a blessing and opportunity for mutual enrichment in the body of Christ.

Dear family and friends of BLC,

Here’s a gentle reminder that we’ve moved to a "temporary" location for our corporate Sunday worship gathering.
We had a good start last Sunday for "World Communion" Sunday with guests from different countries. This Sunday, I’m looking to "return to the pulpit" or in BLC lingo – "share the message for the week" :-)
Please come early to get good parking. If the parking is full you can still park at the side around the building (NOT in front) as long as it doesn’t block the driveway. Worse case scenario, just park near the road along the Hospital Mata or at the parking at Astaka field. Enjoy a good morning walk then!

Normally, on the first Friday of every month, BLC organizes a simple hour of contemplative and reflective worship for all who desire an “alternative” space to the busy, cluttered and noisy existence we experience daily.
This second Friday of October, as we continue to celebrate the season of Pentecost, let’s we engage with the creative God who’s always ready to be a strength to us in the midst of the chaos of our lives.
The gathering would include moments of silent prayer, scripture reading and reflection, songs and the Lord’s supper.

This Sunday, October 11, the BLC Sunday Worship Gathering will start at 10.30 am, at Luther Centre’s Chapel with coffee and tea, and light finger food. Come and join in celebration of worship and fellowship together with joy.

So from this Sunday of October 4, 2009, BLC’s community will start congregating at Luther Centre’s Chapel. It’s located on the First Floor of Luther Centre, and accessible by lift from the underground car park.

Venue: Chapel, 1st floor, Luther Centre, No. 4 Jalan Utara, Petaling Jaya.

Just for this Sunday of October 4th, we need everyone to be there at 9.30 am to  help set up the place. Please come and help. The rooms for bible study, refreshments, and children ministry are still in its raw state. Only the chapel is ready. Rewards of coffee, tea and simple refreshments follows.

Come to meet each other, catch up  on friendships, and also get to know our guests from overseas.
